2026 Bucking Bull Draft!

All new for 2026! "The League" will begin with the Rafter KL BuckingBull Draft August 2026, followed by two online Free Agency (undrafted) auctions, a series of (7) exclusive competition events for these calves known as the Playoff Series, and the "Super Bowl" Showcase Finale in August 2027. The Rafter KL Bovine Performance Center Bull Draft is a concept we have put together to offer the very best Performance Yearling Prospects from our entire crop of bull calves. We will specifically select the best calves from our program that will be available for the draft. You will purchase a draft position for a dollar figure (listed below) and that will be the order in which draft position owners select their bull. On Draft Day, we will buck the calves LIVE for all draft position owners to watch in person. At the conclusion of the Draft Buck Day, position owners will select their picks in order of which spot they have purchased. You will own 100% of the bull you draft with no additional cost. The 2026 Bull Draft bovines will be eligible for the "The League"!

If you are already active in the bucking bull business, you can take your selected bull to your ranch or trainer of choice. On the other hand, we will offer an option where the bull you select in the Bull Draft can stay in our program for an additional monthly fee for training & care.
Competition prospects for the 2026 Rafter KL Bull Draft will be a combination of American Heritage Nominated, ABBI Maiden Eligible, and proven money winning calves. The bucking bull competition industry paid out more than $7,000,000 in prize money in 2025! With the group of calves available for the 2026 Bull Draft, we feel you will have a chance to hit a home run with any draft position you select! ​

"The League" Full Details

Rafter KL's "The League" is the umbrella of an exciting new concept of the bucking bull business presented by Rafter KL Bucking Bulls. The League will feature an exclusive concept for Rafter KL Bucking Bull Draft and Free Agency customers allowing these bulls to compete for an estimated $200,000 in prize money. If you want to own a bull, expand his earning potential, and experience one hell of a ride, Rafter KL's The League is the answer.

The League will begin with the Bucking Bull Draft. All bulls from Rafter KL's program will be offered to the (15) Draft spot holders FIRST. All calves will be bucked LIVE on Draft Weekend, meaning you are not expected to select your bull on videos alone. Being able to see their live performance, confirmation, and attitude is vital in aiding to the selection of your next competition super star.

Following the Bucking Bull Draft, all bulls NOT selected will be offered in two online Free Agency auctions available for purchase to the public. These two auctions will take place in September and December.

The Playoff Series will be a culmination of competition events for Draft selected and Free Agency purchased bulls, and those bulls ONLY. Note, these events are not mandatory to enter. This part of "The League" is allowing Rafter KL Bucking Bull Draft & Free Agency customers a unique opportunity to expand the earning potential of their bull.

The Showcase Finale is and added money (estimated $20,000) Super Bowl competition concluding the Playoff Series events and where we will crown "The League" Champion. This event will take place on Draft Weekend in August. The League Champion will be crowned based off money won through the Playoff Series Events + their score at the Showcase Finale.
